Stop the Madness

My Friend lost her son. A lovely young man, good with his hands, had a love of fixing things, 13 years old, gunned down steps away from home. My son and daughter lost a friend. My heart goes out to them all. I know first hand how bad it can hurt to lose someone close to you. My mother passed away when I was nine.

I search for words to begin to explain how I am feeling. Numb to the surroundings because so many are lost so fast. The neighborhood has become a battlefield! Outraged that people think it's okay to gun each other down and have no respect for life! Afraid for the young people in my neighborhood, including my own children.

We are watching our children kill one another and it's time we took a stand against the violence that has taken so many young lives so senselessly! The circle of evidence is clear, the system is doing it's job, it was put in place to ensure the destruction of God's people. If we are going to save our children, save our future the time is NOW! We must act quickly, teach your children the bible, and God's laws. Teach them to Treat others as you would like to be treated, all the time!

My heart is aching, so young and so much to live for, a life taken much too soon, yet barely lived. Education is important, self esteem is important. If you don't believe in your child don't expect anyone else to either. You must up lift and discipline your children. You must allow your children to grow and experience life. All in balance, and most of all you MUST teach your children RESPECT! Respect for life, self, authority. With these tools you can raise a good child, and we can stop this violence that has taken so many lives.
